Earlier this summer I made the trip down to the beautiful mountain town of Roaring Gap in North Carolina to photograph Sarah & PJ’s wedding weekend. I had the best time with these two and their families and friends, and felt as though I could have stayed in Roaring Gap for days!
There are so many sweet details to mention about this wedding – Sarah & PJ’s ceremony was held in the same darling mountain chapel where Sarah’s parents were married years before. Sarah also wore her mother’s wedding gown, which was tailored to fit her, yet perfectly preserved. After the ceremony, Sarah & PJ rode away on a vintage firetruck – riding along with them was an all-time favorite wedding moment for me.
Not only did I have the opportunity to shoot alongside my talented brother-in-law & sister, MacKenzie & Philip of Inkspot Crow Films, but I also had the chance to meet and work with the fantastic Becca Rose of Rebecca Rose Events for the first time. Of course, shooting the floral work of Amy Lynne Originals was another highlight, as was listening to the amazing band, A-Town-A-Listfrom Atlanta.
The following are just a few of my favorites from this spectacular wedding. Enjoy!
Venue & Catering: The Roaring Gap Club. Floral Design: Amy Lynne Originals. Event Planning & Design: Rebecca Rose Events. Cinematography: Inkspot Crow Films. Hair and Make-up: Bella UpStyles. Cake: Ketchie Creek Bakery. Lighting: K2 Productions. Band: A-Town-A-List from Atlanta.
